It is not far from the airport. Location, a short walk to all attractions. Reasonable base for vacation in Campi Bisenzio.

When arriving I asked very politely why I had to pay once more in cash after I already booked by internet and payed by credit card. The responsible person of the hotel started yelling in a very rude way for over 10 minutes when asked for an explanation.

A very central no frills hotel, ideal for an overnight stay.
It is almost impossible to get to by car. It is situated in the midst of a network of one-way streets and "no entry" streets making it very difficult to find.

Ideal location - but later in the evening, there are no food/drink facilities & the night porter had no English but, was as helpful as he could be
Location was perfect for our needs but, car parking was not next to the hotel!

The hotel is located about 12 miles outside the Firenze city center and can best be reached using a bus (#30). Car parking is in a neighboring piazza. There are a couple of excellent restuarants within two blocks and some basic needs shopping in the town. the staff only speaks Italian but are very helpful and pleasant! "I Gigli" mall is less than two miles away by car with a supermarket/ discount store and various shopping.
The showers are the old style-- very small cabinets, but plenty of hot water. The piazza in front of the hotel is noisy until midnight with young people coming and going!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Small but clean room and the reception area was also clean. Easy to get into Firenze by bus, though we had a problem returning one night. Parked car in next plaza and it was quite safe.
It was advertised as a French bed, but we were dismayed to find it was so small. Shower was opposite the toilet which got soaked even with the shower curtain across, this made the floor wet and slippery. Could not get in house free internet to work.

So far away from central Florence. According to the information of the hotel, it is only 15 minutes to the center, but the truth is it is approximately 45 minutes by bus! The room is very small, and we did book a double room, but there was only towel,pillow and washing staff for only one person.
